L'Orée du Bois was originally a dress designed by Jacques Fath for Rita Hayworth's wedding costume. For perfumer Luca Maffei the golden colour symbolises this sensual actress and so he created a unique golden accord (cumin, saffron, cinnamon). L'Orée du Bois evokes a feeling of abundance that one feels when entering the forest, carried by different senses. The mimosa flower, dry broom and the saturated orange blossom absolute form a warm heart, mixed with a surprisingly spicy golden accord, honey and cashmeran notes.
