12 French Perfumers
12 Parfumeurs Français was born on the 12th of December 2012, from the union of twelve talented French perfumers who came together to embody their most creative and original ideas in the form of exclusive fragrances — with everything symbolic about the number twelve, from the founding date to the name itself. The brand launched with an initial collection of twelve fragrances before unveiling the "Treasures of France" collection, a series of compositions dedicated to France's most celebrated royal châteaux and palaces — immersive, evocative creations that transport the wearer into the mysteries and grandeur of French royal history, from Fontainebleau and Chenonceau to the gardens of Versailles. Subsequent collections — including the Royal Gardens of France and the Famille Royale line — continued this homage to French heritage, culture, and the extraordinary landscapes of the country. Each fragrance is presented in an elegant geometric bottle adorned with twelve sparkling details — a quiet celebration of the art and legacy of French perfumery.

Mirko Buffini Florence
Mirko Buffini Firenze was founded in 2012 in Florence by the namesake entrepreneur and fragrance visionary, whose journey began with a deceptively simple event: a perfume received as a gift from a friend. Loving the scent but sensing something missing, Buffini — who was already active in the cosmetics manufacturing industry with his company Aroma Firenze — embarked on a tireless search for the perfect fragrance. Over two years of research with some of the world's finest noses, he refined and perfected a composition before selling the first 100 bottles to his circle. They sold out in a week. The brand launched officially in 2013 with the "BLACK" collection of 12 fragrances, rooted in the wabi-sabi philosophy of Japanese aesthetics: minimal, enigmatic, and deeply sensual. A subsequent collection, "H.C.E." — named for the central character of James Joyce's Finnegans Wake — added ten bold and seductive compositions. Built on the tradition of Florentine perfumery and the excellence of Italian craftsmanship, Mirko Buffini Firenze is niche perfumery in its most thoughtful form.

M. Micallef
Founded in Grasse in 1996 by artist Martine Micallef and entrepreneur Geoffrey Nejman, M. Micallef was born from the conviction that fragrance and art are inseparable. Martine — raised in Provence amid the scent of jasmine, rose, and orange blossom — brought her painter's sensibility and jeweller's eye to the design of each bottle: hand-decorated in the house's own Grasse atelier with crystals, gold, and platinum, making every flacon a unique work of art. Geoffrey, who left a career in international finance to follow his passion for perfume, trained his nose alongside Grasse perfumer Jean-Claude Astier and developed the olfactory compositions that give each bottle its soul. Together they developed the "Art and Perfume" concept — a philosophy now expressed through over 900 luxury retail points in 75 countries. The house is the exclusive partner of a Grasse horticultural estate that provides exceptional flowers directly from field to bottle, and its creations remain among the most distinctive expressions of French artisan perfumery.

Jacques Zolty
Jacques Zolty is a French photographer and former fashion model who, captivated by the natural beauty of Saint Barthélemy in the Caribbean, relocated to Gustavia and made the island his home and his muse. After creating his first personal fragrance in 1995 to capture the island's unique charm — and finding it quickly became sought-after among friends and celebrities — he developed his first professional fragrance line in 2005, with eight compositions designed to bottle the spirit of Saint Barth's lifestyle. His namesake fragrance brand celebrates the island's understated elegance, freedom, warmth, and joie de vivre. In 2014, the brand was acquired by Roberto Drago of Laboratorio Olfattivo, who partnered with celebrated perfumers including Cécile Zarokian to expand the collection. Today, the brand has a presence in luxury hotels and boutiques across Monaco, St. Tropez, Cannes, Mykonos, and Formentera — wherever the art of living beautifully is understood.

Accendis
Accendis is an Italian niche fragrance house founded by Emy Cesaroni-Rodriquens, who began her career in the perfumery industry in 1988 and spent nearly three decades cultivating expertise before launching her own brand at Esxence 2016 in Milan. The name is taken from the Latin "accendis" — meaning both "you illuminate" and "you bring out aromas" — a phrase that perfectly encapsulates the brand's philosophy: that fragrance is a form of light, a carrier of energy and emotion, a means of driving away fear and kindling the soul. Every Accendis creation is conceived as a different manifestation of light — from the soft glow of early dawn, to the blazing fullness of a summer noon. The fragrances are rich in resins and woods — materials that symbolise life force — and are presented in crystal-clear glass bottles wrapped in precious velvet, their coffrets designed to resemble books containing magical stories without words. Accendis is Italian artistic perfumery in its most luminous form.

Angelo Caroli
Angelo Caroli is an Italian entrepreneur and lifestyle visionary who built a global reputation in the wellness and fitness world with his "Wellness Made in Italy" philosophy — before channelling that same passion for wellbeing into a collection of personal and home fragrances. Born from the belief that a great fragrance should be an intimate extension of the self, Caroli's "Emotions" line is crafted using an ancient artisan method: fragrances produced through maceration and distillation, much like precious liqueurs, from the finest natural oils and pure essences. Each composition is born in the tradition of the "Salotti del Profumo" — the original salons of fragrance, where time, artisanal process, and careful selection of ingredients were the only currency. Rigorously Made in Italy, Angelo Caroli perfumes are defined by warm, sensual raw materials — exotic, decisive, and unmistakably Mediterranean in character.

Panouge Paris
Panouge Paris traces its origins to 1947, when the company was founded in Paris under the name Parfums Lavarenne, specialising in essential oil production. For three decades it developed its own fragrance lines before undergoing a transformation in 1984, adopting the name Panouge — an acronym for "Parfums Nouvelle Génération," or New Generation Perfumes — and establishing itself as a Maison de Parfums. After decades building expertise and credibility as the parent company of iconic brands including Isabey, Jacques Fath, and Masaki Paris, Panouge earned the legitimacy to launch its own selective collection under the Panouge Paris name. Creative Director Rania Naim leads two distinct lines: the Perle Rare Collection, a neo-classical homage to Parisian elegance crafted for a discerning clientele; and the Matières Libres Collection, a minimalist expression of complete creative freedom, where perfumers are given carte blanche to compose without restraint. Refined, Parisian, and deeply rooted in French fragrance heritage.

Isabey
Founded in Paris on the 5th of March, 1924, by Baron Henri James de Rothschild — philanthropist, doctor, and patron of scientific innovation — Isabey was named after the celebrated French miniaturist Jean-Baptiste Isabey, several of whose works the Rothschild family had acquired in the previous century. The house made its debut at the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative Arts in Paris with six exquisite fragrances presented in artistic bottles designed by Julien Viard and René Lalique — winning a gold medal for "Le Collier d'Isabey." Closed in 1941 due to the upheaval of the Second World War, the house was revived in 1999 when the Panouge Group acquired the brand, appointing Creative Director Rania Naim to breathe new life into its treasures. Today, the iconic signature bottle designed by Ludwig Moser continues to adorn the collection — a century of French elegance, Art Deco codes, and rare essences, reinterpreted for a modern audience.

Jacques Fath
Jacques Fath was born in France in 1912 and opened his first haute couture house in Paris in 1937, becoming one of the three dominant figures of postwar French fashion alongside Christian Dior and Pierre Balmain. His atelier on Avenue Pierre 1er de Serbie was a training ground for legends — Hubert de Givenchy, Guy Laroche, and Valentino Garavani all worked under him. His foray into perfumery began in 1945 with Chasuble, followed by two masterpieces created with perfumer Vincent Roubert: Green Water (1946), a revolutionary aromatic citrus that redefined masculine fragrance, and Iris Gris (1947), widely regarded as one of the greatest perfumes ever made. Fath passed away in 1954, and both fragrances disappeared with him. In 2008, the Panouge Group acquired the brand and entrusted Creative Director Rania Naim with its revival. The result is the Fath's Essentials Collection — a contemporary interpretation of the house's spirit of youth, talent, and Parisian joie de vivre.

Antiqua Firenze
Born in the city that gave the world the art of perfumery, Antiqua Florence is an artisan fragrance house rooted in the centuries-old tradition of Florentine perfumery — a tradition that traces its origins to the 1300s and reached the courts of Europe through the legendary Catherine de' Medici. Founded by master perfumer Enzo Galardi, who grew up in his grandfather's artisan fragrance laboratory learning to recognise each note and mastering the secrets of traditional technique, Antiqua Florence is the result of a deeply personal and historical journey. The house blends the excellence of rare raw materials, processed with the utmost respect for their natural properties, with a modern sensibility free from unnecessary excess. Each fragrance is born in an artisan workshop where the world's most precious ingredients are transformed into works of art — carrying an echo of the great Kings and Queens of the past, and the magnificence of Florence with every wear.

BDK Parfums
Founded in Paris in 2016 by David Benedek — heir to three generations of French perfumery — BDK Parfums is a creative studio conceived as an olfactory library, where each fragrance is crafted like a book: the box resembles a cover and binding, and every composition tells stories bound only by the limits of imagination. David grew up surrounded by perfume in his family's celebrated boutique near the Palais-Royal, developed his expertise at the Institut Français de la Mode and trained alongside the teams at Givaudan, before setting up his own house at 25 years old. The brand's fragrances are divided between the Collection Parisienne — capturing the poetry of the French capital — and the Collection Matières, celebrating the world's most precious raw materials. All concentrates are produced in the Grasse region, and every detail of each bottle is crafted by French artisans: the glass blown in Normandy, the iconic dome-shaped cap inspired by the Grand Palais, made by a Parisian goldsmith. BDK is a love letter to Paris and to the art of scent.

Brera6
Born at the address that gave the brand its name — Via Brera 6, Milan — Brera6 is the fragrance house that grew from one of the city's most celebrated perfume boutiques. Founded in 1984 by Guido and Monica Vetter, the historic shop Profumo brought the olfactory avant-garde to Milan for over three decades, introducing some of the world's finest niche houses to Italian audiences. From this living laboratory of scent, a new chapter opened: a collection of contemporary fragrances inspired entirely by the identity and history of Milan. Each composition, crafted by master perfumer Luca Maffei, transforms a chapter of the city into an olfactory experience — from the revolutionary spirit of 1848's five days of Milan, to the futurist speed of the early 20th century, to the Art Nouveau elegance of the 1906 Universal Exhibition. Brera6 fragrances are made with exceptional raw materials, without quality compromise, and carry an extraordinary persistence — much like the city that inspires them.

Essential Parfums
Launched in Paris in 2018 by Géraldine Archambault — an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in fine fragrance — Essential Parfums was founded on a provocative question: why should exceptional perfumery cost a fortune, and why should the brilliant minds behind the scents remain invisible? The brand's manifesto is simple: fragrance first, always. By eliminating unnecessary packaging, marketing overhead, and commercial intermediaries, Essential Parfums puts the world's greatest perfumers — from Calice Becker and Quentin Bisch to Sophie Labbé and Bruno Jovanovic — centre stage. Every creation bears the name and portrait of the nose who made it. Sustainable ingredients, responsible production, and a commitment to making haute perfumery accessible have earned the brand a presence in over 550 points of sale across 60 countries, passing the milestone of one million bottles sold. This is fine French perfumery, stripped back to its essence.

Kajal Perfumes Paris
Founded in Paris in 2014 by Ibrahim Faris and Moe Khalaf — two Jordan-born fragrance professionals who spent decades building careers across the Middle East with some of the world's leading luxury houses — Kajal Perfumes Paris is a house dedicated to the art of East meets West. The name carries a double meaning: in Indian culture, "kajal" is the traditional kohl used to enhance the eyes, a symbol of allure and beauty; in Arabic, "khajal" means modesty, humility, and kindness. These dual inspirations are woven through every composition, which are crafted by an international collective of renowned perfumers using the highest concentration of ingredients. The bottles, designed in collaboration with premium packaging partners, reflect the opulence of the brand's oriental heritage. With fragrances now available in over 40 countries, Kajal Perfumes Paris has established itself as a distinguished independent niche house where cultural reverence and contemporary elegance converge.

Masaki
Masaki Paris Parfums is the result of over two decades of creative synergy between Japanese designer Masaki Matsushima and the French Panouge Group. Born in Nagoya in 1963, Matsushima trained at Tokyo's prestigious Bunka Fashion College under the mentorship of Issey Miyake, before founding his own international fashion label in 1992 and opening his Paris house in 1994. In 1999 he crossed into perfumery, launching his first fragrance collection in 2001 under the iconic "mat;" line — minimalist in name, precise in composition, unmistakably Japanese in spirit. The partnership with Panouge brings together Matsushima's visionary aesthetic — shaped by Japanese tradition and Parisian flair — with the fragrance expertise of skilled perfumers working at the highest level. Each Masaki creation is a refined dialogue between two cultures: the quiet elegance of Japan, and the sophistication of France.

Nishane
Founded in Istanbul in 2012 by Mert Güzel and Murat Katran, Nishane is the first niche perfume brand born in Istanbul to be celebrated globally. The name — meaning mark, sign, or symbol in Turkish — sets the tone for a house that treats fragrance as storytelling. Both founders came from outside the perfume world: Güzel from luxury publishing, Katran from the steel export industry, where his travels across the Gulf introduced him to oud and ignited an obsession with scent. Together they created a brand deeply anchored in Istanbul's identity — a city that has served as a bridge between East and West for millennia. Each Nishane collection is built around a narrative first: from the Shadow Play Trilogy inspired by traditional Turkish shadow theatre, to the Rumi Collection drawing on the poetry of the 13th-century mystic. With all fragrances presented as Extrait de Parfum and created by some of the world's finest noses, Nishane delivers olfactory experiences of exceptional depth and longevity.

Paolo Gigli
Paolo Gigli is a Florentine luxury fragrance house with roots stretching back to 1948, when founder Nello Gigli — a Florentine man captivated by the city's ancient perfumery heritage — began his journey into the world of scent in the aftermath of the Second World War. Headquartered in Sesto Fiorentino, in the hills surrounding Florence, the house has spent over 70 years refining an art form that is as much about the vessel as the fragrance within. Paolo Gigli's bottles are handcrafted masterpieces: made from Venetian glass fired three times at 550°C using an ancient technique, then hand-decorated with silver, 24-carat gold and platinum embossments by skilled artisans — each one truly unique, never exactly the same as another. The fragrances themselves are bold and distinctive, drawing from the natural beauty of Tuscany and the sensory richness of the wider world. Every Paolo Gigli creation is a singular work of Italian luxury.

Simone Andreoli
Simone Andreoli is an Italian perfumer and founder of his eponymous house, born in Carpi in 1990, whose passion for fragrance began at the age of eight during a family visit to the perfumers' workshops of Provence. That early encounter proved defining: he later trained formally in Grasse before returning to Italy with a clear vision. In 2014, he launched his brand alongside business partner Alberto Gaiti under the concept of the "Diario Olfattivo" — the olfactory diary. Every creation is an entry: a personal travel memory, a moment from a specific place and time, translated into scent by Andreoli himself, who remains the sole nose behind every composition. The result is a collection of exclusively unisex fragrances — presented in high-concentration formulations — that range from the tropical vibrancy of Malibu Bay to the nocturnal depth of a desert night. Accessible luxury made in Italy, for those who believe a fragrance should take you somewhere.

Sly John's Lab
Sly John's Lab is the imaginative younger sibling of the established niche house M.INT, launched in 2022 by Serge and Helen Mints — passionate fragrance collectors with a conviction that exceptional perfumery should be within reach of the next generation of scent lovers. The brand takes its name and identity from "Sly John," a cunning and creative figure who listens, experiments, and crafts precisely what people are searching for: something fresh, something floral, something unique. The first collection of seven fragrances was developed over two years in collaboration with four internationally acclaimed perfumers — including Dominique Moellhausen and Frank Voelkl — resulting in compositions that are elegant, non-banal, and made for people who treat fragrance as a form of self-expression. With a guiding philosophy of "People for People," Sly John's Lab brings modern niche perfumery to a broader audience without compromising on quality.

The Merchant of Venice
Launched in 2013 by the Vidal family — a dynasty involved in the art of perfumery for over a century — The Merchant of Venice is a luxury fragrance house that places one of the world's greatest cities at the very heart of its identity. Venice was the epicentre of European perfumery long before Paris: from the 11th century onwards, the Venetian Republic's maritime trade routes — the "Mude" — brought the world's rarest raw materials to the city's master craftsmen, who developed techniques that supplied the Royal Courts of Europe. The Merchant of Venice revives and honours this tradition through fragrances created by leading international perfumers and presented in bottles inspired by the ancient glassmaking art of Murano — including the spectacular hand-blown Murano Exclusive Collection. The house is closely linked to the Palazzo Mocenigo Museum of Perfumery in Venice, and is today distributed in over 80 countries. History, culture, and craft, poured into a bottle.

Vertus Paris
Vertus Paris is a niche fragrance house founded in 1996 by Halil Akat, a Turkish entrepreneur whose admiration for the art of French perfumery led him to establish the first aerosol deodorant and perfume production facility of its kind in 1969. Built on a rich family legacy and decades of expertise, Vertus was created to champion "The Art of Scent" — a philosophy expressed in fragrances of rare quality, developed and designed in France. The brand's collections take their names from the layers of the Earth: Crust, Sima, Xenolith, and Lava — each representing a different facet of creativity, heritage, and passion. Every Vertus fragrance is crafted with a commitment to innovation and artisanal excellence, blending unique raw materials into signatures of unmistakable character. Now present on four continents and beloved by a global community of niche perfume enthusiasts, Vertus stands as a sovereign of the contemporary luxury fragrance world.
