Masaki

Masaki Paris Parfums is the result of over two decades of creative synergy between Japanese designer Masaki Matsushima and the French Panouge Group. Born in Nagoya in 1963, Matsushima trained at Tokyo's prestigious Bunka Fashion College under the mentorship of Issey Miyake, before founding his own international fashion label in 1992 and opening his Paris house in 1994. In 1999 he crossed into perfumery, launching his first fragrance collection in 2001 under the iconic "mat;" line — minimalist in name, precise in composition, unmistakably Japanese in spirit. The partnership with Panouge brings together Matsushima's visionary aesthetic — shaped by Japanese tradition and Parisian flair — with the fragrance expertise of skilled perfumers working at the highest level. Each Masaki creation is a refined dialogue between two cultures: the quiet elegance of Japan, and the sophistication of France.
