Isabey
Founded in Paris on the 5th of March, 1924, by Baron Henri James de Rothschild — philanthropist, doctor, and patron of scientific innovation — Isabey was named after the celebrated French miniaturist Jean-Baptiste Isabey, several of whose works the Rothschild family had acquired in the previous century. The house made its debut at the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative Arts in Paris with six exquisite fragrances presented in artistic bottles designed by Julien Viard and René Lalique — winning a gold medal for "Le Collier d'Isabey." Closed in 1941 due to the upheaval of the Second World War, the house was revived in 1999 when the Panouge Group acquired the brand, appointing Creative Director Rania Naim to breathe new life into its treasures. Today, the iconic signature bottle designed by Ludwig Moser continues to adorn the collection — a century of French elegance, Art Deco codes, and rare essences, reinterpreted for a modern audience.
