Founded in Paris in 2016 by David Benedek — heir to three generations of French perfumery — BDK Parfums is a creative studio conceived as an olfactory library, where each fragrance is crafted like a book: the box resembles a cover and binding, and every composition tells stories bound only by the limits of imagination. David grew up surrounded by perfume in his family's celebrated boutique near the Palais-Royal, developed his expertise at the Institut Français de la Mode and trained alongside the teams at Givaudan, before setting up his own house at 25 years old. The brand's fragrances are divided between the Collection Parisienne — capturing the poetry of the French capital — and the Collection Matières, celebrating the world's most precious raw materials. All concentrates are produced in the Grasse region, and every detail of each bottle is crafted by French artisans: the glass blown in Normandy, the iconic dome-shaped cap inspired by the Grand Palais, made by a Parisian goldsmith. BDK is a love letter to Paris and to the art of scent.
